I am neck deep in my next project: an ambitious woodcut reduction print

Some of you who have been seeing my work for awhile may remember my last reduction print:

For the unacquainted, this is a seven layer reduction print carved into a linoleum block and printed on japanese rice paper. I was really happy with it at the time, but as I look back I find myself wishing I had gone bolder. I've done some other fun print projects from then till now, but I'm finally tackling another reduction print.

Well, my last reduction print was about 8" by 10". This time, I've slightly scaled up to 3' by 4', or 36" by 48". So just a little crazy ...

I'll also be printing on a beutiful linen. I want to be able to fold and hang this like a medieval tapestry, which is where I'm drawing some inspiration from

I was feeling a lot of uncertainty about this project but I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. I'm very excited to have it on display at POWERHOUSE April 9th. Definitely try to come by if you can! I'll be posting photos afterwards as well, so you'll be able to see the unicorn soon either way

Also in April you can catch me vending at TBO! I'll have some of the leftover stock from ANE (which is also available on my shop) as well as some totally new stuff. It's gonna be a good time! I hope to see y'all there

Besides that I'm gonna be trucking along, making things happen till art starts making some money. Here's hoping
